Standards and Regulations for Aluminium containers in the cosmetics packaging industry
Aluminium is used frequently in the cosmetics industry for packaging. Not only is it a lightweight metal, but it is also very strong and durable, making it a multipurpose material. The metal can be used for many applications, from cans to tubes. It is also often recycled, creating less strain on the environment than plastic or other materials.
Benefits of Aluminium Containers
As well as being visually appealing, aluminium is lightweight, flexible and 100% recyclable. Aluminium can be recycled into a brand new aluminium product within 60 days and uses only 5% of the energy used to make the original product.
Aluminium skin care packaging does not pose any risks of harm to human health. It is used for many applications, including creams, oil and spray bottles. The reason aluminium works as a recycled product is that it acts as an excellent defence against contamination from bacteria and other micro-organisms, as it has an impermeable surface that protects the temperature of the product and keeps out air, light and liquid. This makes aluminium packaging absolutely perfect for skin care products, where the integrity of the product is very important. It easily meets container requirements for all facets of the beauty industry, including colour cosmetics, skincare solutions, fragrance, and health and beauty aids.
Conclusion
Aluminium is a widely favoured choice as a packaging material for the cosmetic industry. Made of recyclable material, it is very efficient on many levels, particularly on cost and sustainability. The material is so strong and durable that aluminium easily meets ISO, FDA and EU requirements for protecting skincare products.
